Details

This spring Padua Academy invites our stakeholders -- current parents, alumnae, staff, parents of alumnae and donors -- to celebrate together at Padua Academy’s Spring Soirée. This fundraising event, held on March 22 from 6pm to 10pm at the Brantwyn Estate, promises a night of elegance and fun, all in support of the mission of Padua Academy and the young women we serve.

In addition to good food and drink, this year’s event will feature live music by The Midnighters, a curated silent auction, and a short program to recognize our honorees.  All proceeds will benefit the newly-established Martha C. Holladay Endowed Scholarship Fund.  A special thank you to the sponsors listed below.

Planning to attend and wondering what to wear? We want our guests to get dressed up, eat, drink and be merry! Cocktail attire is recommended, and guests are welcome to add some 1920s flair.

Proceeds Benefit

All proceeds from Padua Academy's 2025 Spring Soirée will benefit the Martha C. Holladay Endowed Scholarship Fund.  This fund was established in celebration of Mrs. Holladay’s 50th year of service as an educator at Padua Academy, and will play an important role in ensuring Padua's ability to offer scholarships and financial aid to future generations of Padua students.

Honorees

Padua Academy’s 2025 Spring Soirée honors:

Martha C. Hol
laday
Mrs. Holladay exemplifies dedication to Catholic education in fifty years of service as a teacher at Padua Academy.  Throughout her career, Mrs. Holladay has inspired over 5,000 students, particularly sparking a passion for literature and guiding them through the timeless pages of The Great Gatsby. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom. As a key architect of Padua’s rigorous writing program, Mrs. Holladay has empowered generations of students with the skills and confidence to succeed in college, their careers, and in life. Many of our alumnae attribute their communication abilities and professional success to her exacting standards and thoughtful instruction.

We are excited to share that funds raised by this year’s Spring Soirée will support an endowed scholarship in her name. This scholarship was established to honor Mrs. Holladay’s vision: to offer the opportunity of a Padua education to students who might otherwise face financial barriers.
