Padua Academy’s 2025 Spring Soirée honors:
Martha C. Holladay
Mrs. Holladay exemplifies dedication to Catholic education in fifty years of service as a teacher at Padua Academy. Throughout her career, Mrs. Holladay has inspired over 5,000 students, particularly sparking a passion for literature and guiding them through the timeless pages of The Great Gatsby. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom. As a key architect of Padua’s rigorous writing program, Mrs. Holladay has empowered generations of students with the skills and confidence to succeed in college, their careers, and in life. Many of our alumnae attribute their communication abilities and professional success to her exacting standards and thoughtful instruction.
We are excited to share that funds raised by this year’s Spring Soirée will support an endowed scholarship in her name. This scholarship was established to honor Mrs. Holladay’s vision: to offer the opportunity of a Padua education to students who might otherwise face financial barriers.
