What an incredible evening of fun and baseball as Padua Academy took over the Wilmington Blue Rocks stadium!
Students, staff, families, alumnae, and friends came together for this amazing Padua community event. We were thrilled to have Nicolette Sabatina, Class of 2014 & Assistant Varsity Coach of Padua Softball, throw out the first pitch! And a special shoutout to Brielle Smith, Class of 2027, for her beautiful rendition of God Bless America before the game started. Our section helped sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.
Our Sophomores & Juniors took part in Career Day today and had an opportunity to hear from various alumnae speakers from multiple career fields. Over 30 alumnae representing a wide variety of classes returned to Broom Street to discuss their careers. Topics ranged from Business, Arts and Media, Technology, World Language, Education, Science and Medicine, and more.
The day opened with keynote speakers Dr. Ginny (Jensen) Schreppler ('00) & Carmella Cinaglia Esq. ('14). Students then moved to 3 separate talks to hear about different careers, network with alumnae, and learn about career paths.
Alumnae joined us for our second annual Alumnae Happy Hour on April 12, 2024 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Alumnae from all classes (must be at least 21 years of age) were welcome. Wine, beer and soda/water were for sale. Everyone gathered in the Cafetorium, but the entire school was open for self-guided tours. The school store was also open for browsing and shopping.
We were delighted to host 40 alumnae from the Classes of 2023-2020 last week for Alumnae Return Day. The day included lunch, updates on current news and events in and around Padua, and small group discussions with current seniors to share insights on "what college life is really like." The day concluded with an Alumnae Social with teachers and even a few current students who stopped in to see their friends from college. It was truly wonderful to welcome our pandas back home!

Come sip your beverage of choice, snack on some yummies, and shop 'til you drop -- jewelry, clothing, crafts, artwork, metalwork, Padua swag and more! 6:30-8:30PM in the Cafe and Learning Commons.
Grab your fall gear or do some early Christmas shopping at the annual Fall Sidewalk Sale on Friday, October 20th from 2:35pm - 5pm and Saturday, October 21st from 8:30am - 10:30am. Our business leaders will be selling new products on the front steps of the school.
Padua's entire community: students, staff, alumnae, friends, and family signed up to volunteer in Padua's Funnel Cake Booth at this year's Italian Festival! The St. Anthony's Italian Festival ran from June 11th - June 18th. All volunteers receive free admission into the festival and a free T-shirt!

Our Seniors took part in Career Day and had an opportunity to hear from various alumnae speakers from multiple career fields. Over 30 alumnae from the class of '67-'17 returned to Broom Street to discuss their careers. Topics ranged from arts, law, counseling, justice, education, engineering, environmental science, finance, marketing, social work, technology, and more.
The day opened with keynote speaker Dana Frabizzio '85, who so eloquently spoke of the value of her Padua education, how it solidified her career choice, and her family connections: mother Eileen Frabizzio '61 and daughter Lauren Frabizzio '10. Dana even gave a special shout-out to teachers Mrs. Barbara Markham and Mrs. Martha Holladay. Seniors then moved to 3 separate talks of their choosing to hear about different careers and network with alumnae.

Transcripts may also be picked up in the Main Office during regular school hours (8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday).
