Padua Academy offers certified athletic trainers to ensure that student athletes compete safely at their competitive best.
Padua’s Athletic Training Team includes Dr. Joseph J. Mesa, MD, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Grace Stauffer, BS, LAT, ATC, a certified Athletic Trainer.
Padua partners with ATI Physical Therapy to provide student athletes access to athletic trainers who are nationally certified and state licensed. Specialists in the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, these athletic trainers work with athletes at all levels of their sports.

In addition, all incoming freshman and junior athletes undergo ImPACT Baseline Concussion testing to assist in the assessment and management of concussions.
