On Dec. 7th, we proudly dedicated the Brother Michael Rosenello and Mrs. Lucille Smith Court to honor two extraordinary individuals whose unwavering dedication helped shape Padua Academy. Mrs. Smith and Brother Mike were not only lifelong fans but also transformative coaches who set the standard for Padua Athletics and inspired countless students to achieve greatness both on and off the court.
Brother Mike, a guiding presence at Padua since 1954, and Mrs. Smith, our first lay staff member in 1959, devoted over 50 years each, setting the standard for Padua student-athletes and laid the foundation for our athletic program. As coaches, they taught their athletes that success isn't just about winning games—it's about winning in life.
To celebrate this special occasion, we welcomed family members of both honorees, alumnae, and current and former faculty to a reception prior to the dedication. On the occasion of Padua Academy’s 70th year, we are proud to recognize their lasting legacy and the impact they’ve made on generations of Paduans.
Thank you, Mrs. Smith and Brother Mike, for a lifetime of devotion to Padua!
