On Thursday, September 26th, the Class of 2028 gathered at St. Anthony of Padua Church for their Freshman Convocation, surrounded by their families, faculty, and staff. This meaningful tradition marks the first time our newest Pandas and their parents unite for Mass, setting the foundation for the years ahead.
During this special ceremony, the freshmen pledged to embrace Padua’s mission, living out our motto “Sauviter sed Fortiter” — softly but strongly — and committing to spirituality, scholarship, service, and sisterhood. Each student received a yellow rose, symbolizing the beginning of their journey as a part of Padua's sisterhood.
We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Karen Duppel, our Director of Campus Ministry, Mr. Joe Louden for his beautiful music, and Fr. Vincent Kumar for leading our Mass. Thank you also to the students who were involved in making the Mass so special:
