In September of 1954, sixty-four students entered St. Anthony’s school building as the pioneer class of Padua Academy.  Padua’s first class graduated in 1958, and since then over 8,000 alumnae have been part of 70 years of scholarship and sisterhood.

These seventy years have taught us how important each student, parent, volunteer, donor and staff member is to our “school with a soul.”  Together, we celebrated this legacy throughout a full year of events to mark the milestone.

Calendar of Events

To mark seventy years, we celebrated all year! We hosted decade by decade events for our alumnae, while also enjoying some all-community events like our movie screening, night at the Blue Rocks, Welcome Back Weekend and Gym court dedication. We even followed our roots by hosting a Spaghetti Dinner. Thank you to all the students, parents, alumnae, faculty, staff and supporters who made this a year to remember!

70th Anniversary Videos

Want to catch up on your Padua history? Mr. Dennis Leizear, a teacher in Padua's Arts and Media Department, with the assistance of Madison Keener '25, prepared videos documenting each decade of Padua's history that our current students had not experienced themselves: from the 1950s through to the 2000s.
